Kent was experimented on by dark secret governmental agencies during the American Revolutionary War ; giving him the power to pull the sound out of any space, which is easier to do in a contained space like a room. It is possible he might have used his powers to prevent JFK from hearing people yelling at him to get down during his assassination ; and he has a long history of participating in important moments in America’s history. He is a hero, on the side of the government, but his morality can sometimes be blurred. He hates silence and always has headphones on. He also still always wears a powdered wig.
